Racing Industry (Closure of Greyhound Racing Industry) Amendment Bill
The Government is proposing to end commercial greyhound racing in Aotearoa by 1 August 2026. This Bill removes greyhound racing from the Racing Industry Act and sets up a transition process that protects animal welfare and supports the people impacted.
